Leadership is one of the few jobs we're expected to do without being taught how.

You were great at your job, so they gave you a team, a title, and a calendar full of meetings.

Now you're expected to give feedback that lands, hold people accountable, delegate work you could do faster yourself, and keep everyone engaged.

But nobody showed you how any of it works, so you wing it.

And the cost shows up gradually, then suddenly.

Good people leave…

People start working through lunch…

Performance starts to decline…

Messages start to contain "Per my last email..."

More than half of people who quit say their manager could have stopped them. Another half say that in their last three months, not a single leader talked to them about their job satisfaction or their future.

But leader’s can’t be held accountable for skills they never learned.

Enter: Leadership Chemistry.

Actions

Your behaviors and choices.

The check-in you hold or skip. The feedback you give straight or soften into nothing. The standard you set by going first, before you ask it of anyone else.

Leaders go first

You have a unique chemical makeup: your psychology, your personality, and your preferences are all wired in like an element (so does everyone you work with). Understanding our natural make-up and those around us is important.

But leaders have more impact than they think.

Through the three leadership capacities — the way you act, interact, and react — you can shape the behaviors, performance, and culture of your team.

Leaders are the not stuck with the team they were handed. People’s and cultures can change, and it starts with YOU.

Interactions

How you work with others.

Great leaders understand people. They know what to say (and what not to say). When to take feedback (or when to leave it). How to recognize people in a way that fuels more positive behaviors and performance.

Leadership is a human game that requires human skills

Reactions

How you show up when things aren’t going according to plan.

Your steadiness under pressure and chaos. The ability to be curious when mistakes are made. How you treat the high performer when they don’t play by the rules.

It’s easy to be all good, when everything is all good.

Work With Us

Every engagement starts in the same place: the leader. The leader is the one variable on the team that can affect change.

Coaching

A three-month engagement built around one leader. Biweekly calls, direct access in between, and work on what that person actually needs to change — not a curriculum they sit through.

Best for a new manager, a high performer you can't afford to lose, or a leader who's stuck.

Speaking

Keynotes and conference sessions, virtual or in person. For annual meetings, leadership summits, and association events where the room needs one idea that sticks.

Best for conferences, association events, and company-wide meetings.

Workshops

A half-day or full-day session with your management team, in person or virtual. Everyone leaves with the same language, the same standards, and a specific set of actions to run on Monday.

Best for leadership teams of 10–30.
